Compliance

Today, environmental and social protectionhas become an integral part of business. In Europe, regulations such as CSRD or CSDDD require companies of a given size to flawlessly control and report on their supply chain. Most European companies are already well equipped to comply with the requirements. However, many of their suppliers operating along the value chain require support, to close potential gaps. infoAid offers suppliers by:

  • Providing relevant information such as certification and audit systems
  • Implementing capturing audits inside the company
  • Advising and assisting the company as to how to introduce suitable certification systems

We cooperate with external audit professionals proficient in the implementation of international standards such as BSCI / SA8000 or SEDEX/SMETA.

Another area of expertise offered covers the reporting related to Humen Resources Capital (HRC). Effective human capital management is critically important for the long-term success of a business. Strategic goals cannot be set and achieved without the involvement of HR/HC professionals.  Accordingly, human capital management and strategic decision-making must be based on evidence. This is possible only through systematic analysis of data, planning of activities to be implemented, and measurement of their results. ISO 30414:2018 - Human capital reporting - is the first international standard that allows an organization to clearly understand the real contribution of its human capital to business success, it is based on 11 key areas:

  1. Compliance and Ethics
  2. Costs and Expense
  3. Diversity
  4. Leadership
  5. Organizational culture
  6. Organizational health, safety and welfare
  7. Productivity
  8. Recruitment, flexibility and turnover
  9. Skills and abilities
  10. Succession planning
  11. Availability of labour force

Human capital reporting and data analytics determine the effectiveness and efficiency of a company's strategy. By effectively implementing human capital reporting, companies can influence business partners and key stakeholders, increase the frequency of data and evidence-based decisions within the company, strengthen collaboration with top management, and use and develop human resources and capital effectively. On 31 July 2023, the European Commission adopted the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). The ESRS are standards that set out the reporting format for companies required to report on sustainability-related impacts, risks and opportunities under the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).According to ESRS S1 SMEs and large companies must:

  • Disclose the existing social factors that are related to its workforce.
  • Identify the positive and negative impacts of the company on its workforce
  • Take any actions and the results of such actions to prevent, reduce or remedy actual or potential adverse impacts
  • Identify the nature and extent of the company’s material risks and opportunities related to its impacts and dependencies on its workforce
  • Identify the impact of the risks and opportunities related to the company’s impacts and dependencies on its workforce on the company’s development, in the short, medium and long term

HR professionals often find it difficult to demonstrate to the company the financial value of the work they do or the solutions needed to develop the organization. Accordingly, they often fail to justify the need for the requested budget. As a result, they have to carry out planned activities with limited funds or even abandon some of them. This has a negative impact not only on their efficiency, but also on employee satisfaction and the company's activities in general. It is precisely to eliminate these problems that the ISO 30414:2018 standard was created, which calculates the true organizational value of HR. ISO 30414:2018 makes it possible to count, measure and present the contribution of human capital and the HR function to the success of the organization based on evidence.
